What is Biblical Counseling?
The Biblical Counseling Ministry is dedicated to using scriptural truths to empower couples to build loving, fruitful, and purpose-driven relationships that meets God’s standard of marriage. Knowing and applying truth transforms, strengthens, heals, and revives failing marriages (John 8:32).
Biblical Counseling does not sugarcoat unresolved problems or apply a band-aid to placate couples. Instead, we collaborate with the Lord to help us confront our issues, expose "unhealed wounds," clean out the mess, and apply the healing balm of the Word to facilitate healing. God wants to lay the axe of the Holy Spirit to every evil root and works of flesh in our lives and marriages.
Biblical Counseling goes after the root, not the fruit, effects, or outward manifestations of marital crises. The roots produce the "fruits" or external manifestations. Once you deal with the roots or close that demonic gateway, the devil can no longer access your marriage. Instead, you and your mate will begin to produce “good fruits” to nurture and mature your marriage. When the foundation of a problem is uprooted, it will no longer bear fruit or manifest in the relationship.
